On the day of production and after the brick cheese is pressed. The brick cheese is cubed and salted while it is still very mild. Brick Curds have become a signature snack at Widmer's.

Have been going to Widmer's for over 50 years. Started when my father made trips when I was 7 years old. Now I do my part to visit Widmer's and provide cheese for my 3 sons who are still in Wisconsin. The curds are wonderful, like a little piece of heaven. They are always opened before I start the drive home. They bring back wonderful memories of my family.

I love Milwaukee, and Wisconsin as did my parents, and theirs before them, nothing comes close to those curds.
I've been out to Cali, and they can steal the idea all they want, but Wisconsin is the true dairy land, and Widmer's is the spot to know.

you don't have to look any further. Widmer's hooked me on the aged cheddar... and then I got ahold of some of these curds. Now, every single get together has both. I have a co-worker who commutes from Theresa, WI (home of Widmer's) - and he has become the go to guy for Widmer's cheese... every week someone or another asks him to pick up this or that from Widmer's and bring it to Milwaukee. THAT's how good this stuff is.
