I’ve been looking for a source of good Weisslacker/beer cheese/brick cheese for a while, and I’m thrilled to have found it at Widmer’s. I like it that they put a stamp on it saying when it was made and that optimum ripeness is three or four months later. I still have a month to go and I hope I manage to have some left, it’s tough to put it away after the first bite. The flavor is outstanding and I love the richness of this great cheese. There’s nothing in the grocery store that can match what you get from a master cheesemaker like Widmer’s.

The miles is ok but this block of cheese is almost gone and I’ve only had it a week you can get cheese down here you can’t get brick cheese down here in Phoenix Arizona and I love cheese it takes me back to when I was a kid anyway is it it was everything I wanted it to be and I will be ordering again thank you

I’ve ordered this product for YEARS. Decades. Never been disappointed. The only thing I wish… If it was possible to buy older, extra aged, product. I’ve tried to let it sit longer at home; but it just doesn’t last that long. Can’t resist eating it daily. 🙂

We only recently discovered that brick cheese is available online. Since I grew up in Wisconsin, I acquired a taste for it long ago, only to have the taste buds be recently treated with my first shipment from Widmers. It arrived right on schedule, carefully packed, and still chilled. It is the genuine product. If it were not for the winters, we’d move back just for the cheese.

My father has a love for this cheese. Is from your area and grew up with this cheese. Is 97 years of age and living on his own. Enough Said!
