Brick Curds 1 lb On the day of production and after the brick cheese is pressed. The brick cheese is cubed and salted while it is still very mild. Brick Curds have become a signature snack at Widmer’s. Heritage: Brick is a Wisconsin original, first made by John Jossi around 1877. Some Brick cheeses resemble Germany

We sent these cheese curds to our family in Arizona. They were so excited to receive them that our granddaughters ran around telling everyone that the Christmas cheese from Wisconsin had arrived. Our son says they are the best cheese curds he has ever tasted. They are so fresh that they have nothing to compare it to in Arizona. So wonderful to have the availability of a company that has been around for a while with a quality product. Thank you!

very salty and texture was like jack cheese. can’t say I’m an aficionado of curds, but these sure weren’t what i remember from my time in Tillamook when i ate them fresh.
Hi Wayne– I know what you mean –if you eat them right out of the vat they are soft. We do have to add salt to any cheese or it will go wild and bitter in flavor. We have been voted best cheese curd in Wisconsin in consumer reports. Sorry for your bad experience.

Both My Wife and I thought that the Brick Cheese Curds were very salty.
We put the normal amount of salt on every batch of curds which is usually 1.5 to 1.7% in the finished product. For some people this is the right amount of salt and for some it is to much so we do apologize for that.

I’ve been a cheese curd consumer for many years, this is the first time I can say with all honesty I love them! These curds blew me away. None that I’ve had before can even come close. Widmer’s are so creamy, and the flavor is spot on. I’m so glad that I found Widmer’s Cheese on the internet, can’t wait to try the other cheeses I purchased.

Grew up on mild brick and enjoy the Curds for light snack anytime. My
grandkids love them and the don’t last long. Have tasted others but these
are the best. Love the Cheddar Curds also.
